fear in Ukraine

In the middle of January, 2014 Jewish Ukrainians went into deep fear. They were delivered a leaflet telling them they were to register with the pro-Russian militants, in an attempt to make Ukraine a part of Russia. Jews leaving their session of prayer were handed papers explaining that they were to "provide a list of property they own and pay a registration fee" If they failed to do so they would be stripped of their citizenship, face deportation, and have their assets confiscated.
